South Tamil Nadu Leadership Conference - Madurai 2023

South Tamil Nadu Churches comprising Nagercoil Tirunelveli Tuticorin Madurai Theni and Dindigul regularly organize leadership conferences once in 3 months in different locations for the young and married leaders, upcoming leaders and family Group leaders to be equipped in serving God and to keep the mission focused.  

This time Madurai Church hosted the conference titled “Equipped to Serve”  in their newly built Church Hall on Monday of October 23rd 2023.  

Small group Leaders and upcoming trainees travelled from their cities to Madurai on their own expenses to empower themselves with the fellowship and learning from each other. The hall was filled with energetic youngsters and enthusiastic leaders. Very exciting to have Chennai leaders join us for the first time. They were a special treat to watch & listen to.

The meeting started with the Choir team leading some inspirational worship songs to help us connect with God and glorify Him in the beginning followed by a fabulous spot dance & music welcome treat by respective church participants themselves to light up the meeting start.  Great news from all the churches were shared to kindle our zeal for God.


Exciting part of this program was having 4 disciples appointed as leaders to take charge of the mission forward in their respective cities which really inspired the entire group to dream more.



The whole group took a few mins to pray for peace in Israel and Palestine.


After a short tea break to refresh our fellowship,  Bro.Dilli babu & Sis.Preethi shared an inspirational leadership lesson to lift up our hearts to be more equipped and to serve God better. Everyone was seen spending time with each other during lunch sharing their lives and what they learned and followed by grouping games to bring fellowship more fun filled. 

It was a great time to have a Q & A session to address a few questions to advance the mission work in all the churches. Some of the life changing sharing was heart melting to listen to. Everyone left with zeal and a great feel.

We sincerely appreciate the Madurai church for hosting this Conference with a glad heart and ending the meeting with a sweet heart by their special famous cool drinks Jigarthanda which taste more to our souls. All are looking forward for the next meet.

Mini Cricket Trophy - 2023

Dear Christ lovers, Cricket lovers gathered for an exciting day of  showcasing their in depth cricket talent on the Day of 77th  Independence of our country India.  It is always exciting and fascinating to talk about cricket to our talented cricketing disciples in our family of churches. August 15th was an awesome and an incredible day where the Dindigul church in South Tamil Nadu organized a 4 team Tennis ball Cricket Tournament in Don Bosco seminary center ground. It is so patriotic to start the event with India Flag hoisting & singing National Anthem. A  short message  from the  Bible -  Galatians 5:1 on freedom in Christ shared to take the event more uplifting to each other.  Disciples teams from Nagercoil, Erode, Madurai and the host Dindigul combining  Theni participated and showed their power packed players performance with sky rocketing sixes which left many in a shock to witness such a spirited games. League matches held for all teams facing each other once and top 2 teams

If you want to be unified - pray with other believers - Malcolm Cox

I have been contemplating the connection between praying together and unity for a couple of weeks.  It cannot be a coincidence that, right after instructing his disciples how they should resolve a dispute between church people, he tells them this: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:19–20) Why is the most explicit passage on Jesus’ desire for unity part of his prayer in John 17? The disciples were there. I imagine they are praying with him, not just hanging out nearby. We do not have a record of what their prayer-response was, if any, but that incident coupled with the text in Matthew 18, as well as the many examples in Acts leads me to surmise that praying together is an essential part of maintaining true Christian unity. A Historic Day for Coimbatore Church: Elders Appointed in Joyful Ceremony

     A New Chapter Begins... On December 24th, 2023, the Coimbatore Church witnessed a massive moment - the very first appointment of Elders in its history. The atmosphere ignited with excitement as the ceremony unfolded. The ceremony commenced with uplifting worship songs  praising and glorifying God firsthand, filling the spirit-filled gathering with a spirit of unity and anticipation. Warm welcome cherished throughout the gathering, setting the stage for an incredible event. Following a heartfelt opening welcome, w ith hearts full of humility and gratitude, the newly to-be appointed Elders  Bro.Sivagnanamoorthy & Sis.Karpagam  along with another couple  Bro.Iruthayaraj & Sis.Regina  were presented to the congregation for an official appointment before the church taking on their vital roles within the church. Each individual, chosen for their wisdom, dedication, and exemplary character, received a warm embrace and words of encouragement.  Bro.
